Backyard chicken mama here. I’ve been following the backyard chicken community for quite some time and now ready to be an official member I have raised chickens in Montana for about 4 years now and just recently picked up some red production chicks which I have found cat quite a bit different in their behaviors etc, then chicks I have previously raised . Anyone have any similar experience with the red production chicks ?

Never had reds before. In what way are they different?

Their wings seem to be growing exceptionally faster . They chase moving objects so much more than normal . Sort of how a cat chases a red dot light . It’s actually pretty impressive how quick they are compared to all my other chicks. I feel like they are going to be pretty extreme in their behaviors. Our rooster doesn’t know what he’s in for
