(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
- Yes I am new to chickens, rescued my first during a flood, from 4 only 1 survived. No idea what breed is, probably mixed, but I been doing all I can to keep it happy.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
- I have 2 chicks unsure if they are pullets or cockerels
(3) What breeds do you have?
- My eldest chick is a mystery breed, the other 1 it is an Ameraucana maybe Easter Egger mix.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
- Having pets in my backyard that eat the bugs and enjoy the place, their company is nice and if they lay some eggs that would be a plus.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
- I like to crochet, bake, draw things, paint, fix new useful things around the house, sometimes play video games at night.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
- Just me and my husband, have 2 dogs, a few cockatiels and now 2 chicks growing, I’m a housewife, and we are working on our health and living.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
- I been visiting this page so much to read posts and people experiences with their chicks comparing to mine and learning how to care for them I finally decided to join the community.
enjoy them at this age, they grow so fast!
