So, I had this crazy idea one day...I was gonna raise chickens. Not for meat but more as pets and for egg production. After this brilliant idea, it took a little bit more convincing of my significant other and we finally placed an order for 5 birds to start out with (1 boy & 4 girls). It seemed like a nice starter flock and it would give us the eggs we wanted without a massive surplus.
Anyway, we're 3 days into it and down to 4 girls (the boy died). All 4 seem to be doing well. We hav a pair of Golden Wyandottes and a pair of Barred Rocks remaining.
