Hi ya'll,
This is my first year of finally getting my wish for a little group chickens. Over the year, I've noticed that I come on this site A LOT and have ALWAYS found reliable information and guidance to all my little questions and issues that have come up along the way. So I though hey- why not join! So here I am, finally, and I look forward to hopefully being able to contribute things that I've learned (some things through the hard way) and to continue receiving the invaluable help this site has given me and my girls. I live in the NE Washington and am currently dealing with a soggy run, oh great Will be posting soon for advice as my research has given a lot of conflicting information.. Anyway, nice to meet you all

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan

My runs get very muddy this time of year. I add straw, several flakes at a time, as needed to keep the mud down. The chickens move to scratch around in it.
