Welcome! I call my OCD - Obsessive Chicken Defense. I don't think it is a disorder. (My daughter wouldn't agree. )

Incidents with coyotes and neighborhood dogs (much an coyotes) when we had chickens when I was young influence my chicken protective actions. Between protecting the garden from gophers and protecting the chickens, I have purchased more than one 100 foot roll of 1/2 inch hardware cloth.
