Hi everyone!
We're excited to have joined such an amazing community.
We reside in Queens, New York and so enjoy our city but
I've wanted to bring a lil' country to our yard here in the big city
for a long time and it finally happened!
We're newbies at having chickens and have three Tetra Tint pullet chicks.
We had the good fortune to have received them from a friend who bought
six and gifted us with three. We've had them for a month so far and so far ~ lots of fun!!!


This was from this morning, while the hubs worked in our yard.
My son and dog both also enjoy having them here as part of the family!

Welcome!!! Wow! love your little city "farm"! Looks like you have a good sound fence to keep your little girls safe. And you are starting with a great breed! Be sure to check out the learning center and browse some of the threads like for your breed, other folks from Queens and or New York in the social forums or other interests too (like one of my favorites for coffee drinkers).
