Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. You have a beautiful rooster. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. How many other chickens do you have? And are the others all hens?

I have one rooster, if anyone knows the breed please let me know. My hen is a Leg Horn, just one for now. I'm not sure if the coop is large enough for more hens (48"x48"), any thoughts would be great. The coop is covered with plastic for the winter, I take it off when the weather gets warmer.

I would like to thank everyone for the warm welcome and kind remarks.

I can't really see your rooster well enough to determine its breed. If you can post a full body profile close-up, it would really help to determine the breed. )

Thanks for posting the pics. Your rooster looks like an American Gamefowl to me.
