Grey comb

I hatched a few eggs that were labeled as barnyard mix, they had a huge variety including silkies and ayam cemani. One is my little girls, 18 weeks now, was born white, not yellow or cream but paper white, with grey legs, beak asks now comb. I realize she is probably a mix, but any guesses? I’m not finding many chickens with grey combs.

She has ayam cemani in her for sure but what other breeds did they have looks like white leghorn + ayam cemani

The gray comb is the result of her being impure for fibromelanism (black skin).

I hadn’t thought of her as black since she had the white feathers! That makes so much sense. I love her, her name is speckles or just specks, and love that she is unusual . Thanks everyone

Interesting! Probably Ayam Cemani and a breed that is dominant white. White Leghorns are a common one so I wouldn't be surprised if that was her mix
