Im talking to a lady through email whos got the chickens I need.
She said shes got grey or black cochins.
Which in yalls opinions are prettier to look at?
I didnt know they even came in grey

Oh they are both beautiful in their own way. Greys are so soft and fluffy and just soft looking because of their soft grey coloring and darker grey tipping on their wings.
Black cochins are stark and beautiful in their sharpness of color and shininess of their feathers.
This is a hard call but I think I honestly like the black better, I love the beetle green coloring of the very darkest ones.

I am a black lover too!
My BJG rooster has the beetle green in his feathers and I love it!! I tell everyone who sees him
'can you see the green?! Can you see it? Huh? Can you see it?!?' lol
Im getting BJG hens from her too...
I want the cochin for the broody bird of the group...

I think perhaps what she is calling grey is actually a pale smokey "blue. It does look grey to the eye. It's quite attractive and makes for a good looking bird. The blacks are just beautiful as well and since blue comes from black, I see no reason you can't have both!

Problem solved!
