GREY Salmon Favorelles Roo Chick?

At 7/8 weeks- Do Salmon Favorelles Roo Chicks go thru a GREY stage?

I returned because all the chicks I got from seemingly reputable breeders, all turned out to be hens.

I was so shocked by his size compared to my girls, I failed to be properly concerned about the fact that he’s pretty much solid gray right now. Is this normal and will he turn all those pretty colors later?
I don’t want Blue.

Hi there! Is there a photo? My older roos have grey beards (they're about 4 years old). I haven't seen any grey stages in my younger ones before, so this is definitely interesting! Is it possible that they're mixed?
