Today was the day I was not looking forward to. I had been to two Avian specialists. One last night and one this a.m. I had hoped in my heart that somebody would be able to help.
That was not the case. Took me two days to get somebody to see her and I find out if I got her to someone sooner she might have lived.
See she was startled the other day and she ran into the coop I guess she hit herself and started some edema and inflammation inside where you can't see. I knew she was breathing badly and I tried everything.
I had to put her down today because the fluid had built around her heart and her air sacs.
I will miss my girl very much.
If nothing else learn from me... Get into a vet as soon as possible.
