Just heard from a man with limited English that his family grilled their fresh eggs instead of boiling it, does anyone know specifics of this before I try it? Don't look forward to scraping exploded egg off my grill if there's something I am supposed to do first to the egg. Anyone know how long to grill it for? Thank you!

Yes, grilling in the shell is what I was told, and since it was extra fresh eggs to be cooked, getting it out of yhe shell was going to be hard anyway, I was picturing cutting it in half after grilling it and spooning the egg out of the halfshell, but I have not tried any of it yet.

I did some internet searching. You can put them in the oven. I expect you could do them on a barbeque/grill with a lid (like a weber) which is pretty much the same as an oven.

I don't think you could put eggs in the shell over direct heat, like on a griddle.
