Grit? And treats

Hello my chicks are 5 weeks. I let them out to graze a little bit yesterday. Should I start giving them grit as I plan to introduce some other stuff in their diet like vegetables and fruits. What do you give them the grit in? How much grit so I give? I feel like there's so many things I don't know

Put the grit in a little bowl and let them eat what they need. Be careful when feeding treats though. They should be less than 10% their diet. What type of chicks do you have?

Just put a little bit in a small dish or bowl, somewhere near their feed. Don't be surprised if they either 1) ignore it or 2) gorge on it, chicks are unpredictable in how they react to new things sometimes.
