grit needed for yogurt?

Don't be disappointed if they don't run to it at first. Everything new is scary to them. Just leave it in there with them. The bravest chick will try it first and once the others see that "braveheart" didn't keel over dead they'll be willing to try it.
I found it helps to designate a brightly colored bowl the treat bowl. As they grow they'll learn to come running when they see the treat bowl.
 
Ooohhh, good idea. Thanks. I've also heard about ringing a bell? Help to teach them to come in at night and get their treat?
 
If you don't mind looking odd in front of the neighbors, bellowing "HERE, CHICKIE CHICKIE CHICKIE!!!!" at the top of your lungs. They'll come running.
