Grit Question?

Hey guys. So I have a quick question.

When buying grit for baby chicks, should I mix it in with the crumble or have it set in another dish?

Also, is there a certain age I should feed it to them at? And how much should I feed them?

They are under a week old.

I'm using medicated chick starter. Is that good enough for now?

That is all I ever use and it works great for me. You might want to elevate your water source just a little as the chicks will get a mouthful of food and then get a drink. It can get in the water and turn it into a pudding like substance if you don't keep an eye on it. Good luck...
