Grit???

My Peking's are about 4 weeks old going off of what the store said when we bought them 3 weeks ago ... I understand if they do not have access to sand and rocks they need grit. Mine are primarily in their house since it's still pretty cold here..I let them out for a bit when the sun is out but it's grass so how do I get grit to them? Do I put it around on the grass or in there house or in their food..a dish in their house? I have no idea lol.. thanks in advance

You could sprinkle a little on their food initially, but free choice (dish full of properly-sized grit) is best when they're older.

I GUESS I HAVE THE SAME QUESTION FOR MY CHICKS .. THEY ARE A ABOUT 2 WEEKS 3 DAYS OLD GOING BY WHAT I WAS TOLD BY THE STORE WHEN WE BOUGHT THEM.. SHOULD I BE SPRINKLING GRIT IN THEIR FOOD AS WELL?

Just put a small dish in each brooder they will use it as needed. Anytime they eat anything Besides their starter they need chick grit.

They don't actually require much Grit. Only every few days. Sprinkles on the grass is fine outside
