Grit?

I know chickens need grit to help with digestion. We were wondering if our ducks needed grit? I don't know if they digest food the same as chickens.

They do need grit. We give ours grit.

Unless you're only feeding them Duck feed, or you have a natural-producing grit source like a creek or river nearby, you'll need to provide grit.

I had grit available to my brooder ducklings until they were outside and swimming in the lake. Then they can get natural grit as needed.
