grit??

I just got 12 chicks a few days ago, and usually I feed my chicks grit with their food, but the feed store doesn't have any. They only have Poultry Grit (it said 8 wks and older) and oyster shell. I read somewhere online that you don't have to feed chicks grit if they eat crumbles. Is that true?

Yes, you are right! If you're strictly feeding crumbles, you don't need the grit.

I had this same question. Mine are older and eating layena crumbles. So, no need for grit?
