How do you guys eat your grits? I normally put some oyster shells in them...okay just kidding. I normally eat them with an egg but it's kinda getting boring, lol. So how do you eat/prepare your grits?

I put sugar and butter on them today and i had an egg and toast, they were good, but jellie on it sounds good!

sorry, never heard of sugar on grits.

I put cheese and butter on mine.

I have been known to add bacon and eggs along with the cheese and butter.

we eat grits with fried catfish down here in the south -- not mixed in but as a side dish.

Butter and salt. Sometimes cheese. YUM!

I do have a great breakfast casserole that uses grits on the bottom and then an omelet type mixture on the top. It's really time consuming to make, but it sure is good!

Down here near Charleston, SC, one of the biggest "must haves" for visitors is shrimp & grits.

That's a rare treat for us though, I usually have them with with s & p, garlic powder and cheese mixed in. And butter, don't forget the butter!
