A few of you know that I feed strays that show up at our house. Our outside cat White Socks doesn't like when they show up.
Anyways I had a question about a certain stray's poop.
I've been feeding them wet food as most of the recent strays have been males and I know it's better for them. I noticed one stray was pooping and after he was done, I saw that it looked exactly like the wet food but in the shape of poop..?
None of the other strays' poop look like this.

Is this normal??

Loose poos can have lots of causes, including poor diet, stress and some diseases. If you want to try to help, you can try mixing a small spoonful of yogurt in the food. If you can afford it, a livetrap and a trip to the vet might be in order. There are places that will spay a stray for cheap (usually you have to bring them in in a trap and they tip their ears) and they'll give them a vet check as well.

You are stressing out YOUR cat by letting the strays come, as you said above.
Please don't feed strays, you let them bring in yuckies to your yard that can spread to your cat. Not sure if you VX your kitty but I would look up FIV and FIP.
He's going to be 7 years old this year and his vet said it's because he's getting older. Plus, I only feed the strays the same day I have someone pick them up.. I think most of them have been put down due to overcrowding at the shelters
Anyways, I will keep feeding any that show up.

NO you miss my point.
Your cat is stressed because OTHER cats are coming on his territory. You said they seem to be more Males, it's a territory thing. His age doesn't matter.

I'm not following your story, you say you only feed them when they are being picked up. But you noticed one strays poop... that doesn't add up as I'm not sure how you are noticing ones poop if it comes, you feed and it goes to the shelter.
Are you trapping these cats and working with a shelter? If so they should be telling you what they test Positive for.

Feed as you like, it's your house but watch your outside cat for fight wounds as they can get bad fast.

They get picked up at night. I may be a volunteer at my humane society but I don't trap any cats that come here. I only call and wait for them to send someone over that evening.

Since they are stray cats, they most likely have intestinal parasites. Which can cause abnormal BMs. Also, I have seen some soft foods that just don't really agree with sensitive kitty tummies.
