I've had plenty of double yolkers over the last 3 years of keeping laying hens. Never had the second yolk look like this though. It was very firm, also. Any ideas?
I found an older egg that I had missed during a really hot week. When I found it I was iffy so I cracked it and it was half soft boiled :/ ick. But had been in full Sun a couple days in a heat wave...no smell just cooked
Hahaha @ pre scrambled
Double yolkers are an error in the tract...a yummy one but an error nonetheless. I'd think that scrambled egg came from your double yolk layer, having a reproductive hiccup
