Grossed out by chicken??

We raise beef, pigs, and chickens. My daughter will not eat any beef. Loved beef until we butchered our own. So, I feel for you.

Keep some other protiens on hand for those chicken nights- a few ounces of beef or pork in the freezer. Unless you want to go the vegetarian route. Legumes are rich in protien. If all else fails there are protien powders that can go in shakes.
 
Beans are a great source of protein. I am discovering all the various recipes that one can make with beans. Garbanzo beans are really good mashed up and add chopped onion and bell pepper, a nice treat with crackers. Today I tried the same recipe using black beans, added a dash of Caribbean seasoning and a sprinkle of salt (just enough to help bring out the flavor).
