layed her first egg.

It's so neat with white speckles all over it. I can't wait for my daughter to get home from school, she's going to be so proud of her hen. I've alredy called everyone I know to tell them....I think they think I'm crazy for being so excited.

Does anyone know if her future eggs be that same color with specks? I sure hope so!

Lol yes the egg. Its just so cute! I think it just depends. One we used to have layed speckled like that one day and the next she'd lay a solid blue one. But maybe thats not always the case and I just had an odd chicken-I dunno.
