Ground cover for run

I came across this today at a local garden center. It says its 100% natural and safe for kids.... any thought on using this in run

I'd look for free wood chips.
Do the municipalities in your area collect curbside branches? If they do they likely chip them up and offer them back to the tax payers for free.

I’ve checked my township and two surrounding townships....but nothin available. I thought of seeing if a tree company had some but i really have no way of getting bulk and no place to store it if they would drop off... thats why I inquired about the bags above

It looks like wood chips in fancy packaging so it would be both safe and effective.

If you can't handle bulk wood chips in dump truck loads you might find the same thing in less fancy packaging at a lower cost from a landscape supply company.

Looks pretty good, if you can't get bulk stuff.

I agree it looks fine. Do you have yard waste that you could add to it? That would help lower the expense of it. I find that old dry leaves, pine needles, and other yard detritus works well in the run.
