Ground Cover?

I'm looking for ground cover for my duck enclosure. I have shaded and sunny areas but they don't need to be covered by the same plant. Anybody have any non-toxic suggestions? Thanks

Pampas grass is supposed to be a good plant that the ducks won't completely destroy.

I find vinca (Vinca minor, I think?) stands up to the ducks. It's also called myrtle. It's an evergreen groundcover that trails, and has beautiful pale purple flowers in the spring.
