Ground hog day

sitting here post snow, pre ice.....I think hes going to be snowed it

I think they go thru with it no matter the weather. I think its safe to say at this point there will be 2 more weeks of winter regardless.

Id love to go there one year, not too far from me and looks like a ton of fun.

How many here celebrate groundhog day by having the traditional meal of sausage? After all it is "ground" hog day.

I has me a feeling our local groudhog will see his shadow and go back to bed. But I doubt it will be his shadow that scares him off, it'll be the forecast. Don't blame him for going back to bed.

I used to tell my students that if the groundhog saw his shadow it meant 6 more weeks of winter, if he didn't it would only be 42 days. Some of them even got it.
