GROUND SANITATION....WHICH ONE ON CONCRETE?

once a month in summer with Virkon S

can leave over winter as spores die anyway in cold

its the only DEFRA approved cleaner

I would even get a sprayer and spray it on the earth aswell

it will kill worm and cocci and many other spores and eggs

This sounds like an excellent product. I just looked up info on Virkon S,it is a Bactericidal,Virucidal and a Fungicidal,my question is for each issue there is a different dilution rate. What dilution rate would one use for general disinfecting of all three, and is this product safe(i know it is suppose to have low toxicity, but i am always concerned for other animals/children). Information appreciated.

general use is 1:100

its written on the tub

its DEFRA Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs approved its safe for every livestock and wild animal out there in UK

and safe for humans

another use for it is to make a solution and put it in large kitchen sink plastic tub and step in and out of it as you enter and leave the house

it can even be used in the same manner to have the animals step in and out of it but for chicken that might be hard

I use it all the time I buy the 1KG powder tubs
