After you cuddle with it no one will want to cuddle with you. They stink. The musk is a heavy odor of amonia like extra strong urine and musk that is just a nasty heavy stink.

HAHA! I can imagine! Like skunks, they are better left admiring from afar!

LOL! Only you Redhen! Ok, me too, that would just be too cool to walk in a vets office with a "striped kitty"

As far as stinky goes...goats and sheep put out a stout odor as well...can't STAND the smell of either, that is why I don't raise them anymore nor can I eat lamb...tastes just like the goats/sheep smell

But they are still cute!

Ok, I hae always wanted a pet skunk. To the point that I researched it for months. It's not that hard to get one, but they do require ALOT of attention. They are little dogs. They need their person with them and when they are small it is best to keep them with you on your person most of the day. They are playful, litter trainable, social and friendly - after they get to know you. So, I figured I will wiat until I am retired and have that kind of time to give to a pet.

Whoa, those sound about as "needy" as cockatoos. I'm with you, don't have the time for that yet!

THey are so cute when they are small too. Like a pocket animal. Research shows that if you keep them near you, like in a pocket or in your shirt, they are more comfortable with people as they get used to your scent. And they purr. Not like a cat, more of rattle.

Just finished watching my favorite scene, where Bill Murray tells Andie McDowell that he is God.

They fall asleep at 3AM and he wakes up again at 6... "So put your little hand in mine... I got you babe, I got you babe...."
