Grower feed help-- anybody in CT?

Poulin recomends for their starter:

A specially formulated mash feed for starting broiler and layer chicks, duck, geese and game birds.

Feed free choice to layer and broiler chicks until 5-6 weeks of age, then switch them to our 18% Grower Crumbles..

Hi there, why don't you check out Blue Seal's website. I use Blue Seal and love it-highly recommend it! Their feed chart is very clear and easy to understand-newbie here myself! This came in very handy for me and corresponded with what alot of people on byc has already said. Good luck!

OK, I think I need to just be brave and tell my friend (who receives the feed delivery at her farm) and the lady at the feed store that I've done my research and I want the grower feed! If they don't have it, I'll stick with starter until we're ready for layer. With only 3 chicks, my 25# bag of starter has already lasted me for a month and I'm sure will give me a few more weeks. Ugh!!! So much confusion over such small creatures... I'm just desperate to get it right so I can do it all over again next spring!
