Grower feed?

My husband was at the feed store today and I asked him to bring home "grower" feed for our 1 "chick" who is about 3 mo. old. They sent him home with Leyena. Is this OK for her now? She's not laying yet. If it's not the right thing, can you give me some common name brands for the right food please.

Three months old is much too young to be eating layer feed. If you can't find any grower, you can keep feeding starter feed until she starts laying.

Are there names for grower feed? Does it just say "grower feed" on it?
She doesn't seem very interested in the chick crumbles.

Or do they eat less on really hot days? I guess I'm thinking that when I feed the 1 wk and 3 wk old chicks - they freak out and gobble it down and look up as if to say, "Please sir, may I have some more?!" Where as the 3 mo. old doesn't really seem to eat out of the feed pan. Maybe I just don't see her?

boil and egg or give them worms with there food that works with mine in there feed. Good luck
