Growing a chick in a bowl

I wonder if you use 1/2 and egg shell and replace the top of your would be air sac with the breather bag... then it can still attach to the inner membrane.... then you just tilt the glass around to prevent sticking...

I got an egg today, I guess from one of the younger girls, with no shell. It seems to be perfectly formed, with a nice solid membrane..... so tempted to incubate it!
Unfortunately my incubator is already filled and on day 7 so I don't have space.

WOW!! this is cool, but gross! I didn't know that this was possible, I thought once you cracked open an egg, if it was fertile, that It would died. I personally wouldn't like to try this kind of "incubation", but it is very interesting!!

There is a guy on here that had successfully hatched duck and chicken in a glass. He had to use a special piece of plastic to release co2 and let o2 in.

The embryo needs calcium for bone growth. Eggshell provides the calcium. Put crushed eggshell underneath the egg.
