Yes, BOSS will grow taller. I wait to feed it until it has two little leaflets on top of a stem a couple inches long. Very cute little fodder but its slow to reach this point.

How thick of a layer of seed do you put in the flat? I have everything I need and actually am soaking some BOSS tonight. I was just going to give them the sprouts, but your longer growing time seems to make something better.

Does anyone feed comfrey leaves to chickens? I read the leaves contain 20% protein and are used for livestock fodder.

Anyone have recommendations on where to get comfrey seed? None of the companies I usually order seed from carry it.
