Growing my own chicken feed

I grow strawberry clover, white clover, alfalfa, buckwheat, common flax, red clover, and broad leaf trefoil mixed with a rye grass and this mix is VERY high in omega3. The birds actually eat the sprouts and grasses. I use this as a forage mix. I buy the mix pre mixed. Its called chicken forage blend omega3 and its only 3 dollars for alarge bag of planting seeds. I get it from a organic store online called peaceful valley. The birds love it! I plant the it in the run and in flats for them. If you want something high in omega 3 you might want to copy some of these ingredients for your garden. I hope this helps. Best wishes.
