Growing

The one possibly the other might not be would like to see the faces better. You maybe right though . Eyes aren’t so good lol
I put better pictures and I even got a photo shot of their underbody. So you both think they are Muscovy? A mix or just regular Muscovy?

The lil one on it’s back with brown body is def a Muscovy see the pointed bean on tip of Bill doesn’t look like the other one has it? To me with the long tails is usually drake get a few pic of them looking straight at the camera so we can see their legs too.

The best I could do. They were trying to rest.

Also I got them at a store called Pearl’s here on Big Island Hawaii in Captain Cook. It’s almost like a ware house for animal supplies and on occasion he gets ducks and chicks, might be from his farm or somewhere else honestly he didn’t know this batch so he might have got them from someone else instead from his own flock. That’s why I’m trying to find out what they are. I’ve had them for about a month now. So I’m just trying to figure out what they are so I can provide the best environment for them (:

I’d say both are Muscovy they are a great breed of duck very hardy they do fly though so keep that in mind if you live where flying maybe dangerous to them neighbors with dogs, traffic or just flying off where they may not make it back. I clip my Muscovy wings since we live very wooded and have lots of predators. I don’t want mine flying at all they live in a fenced half acre with housing for nighttime. They love bugs so they will keep the bug population down and eat mosquitos and larve but they also need some feed for a well balanced diet. They really are special breed will wag their tails like a dog and can learn their names. They do need secure house for night time if Hawaii has predators .
