I inherited a grown Bantam Hen when my sister passed away. Unfortunately she was born with splay legs and my sister and her husband did not realize that is why she waddled instead of walking normally. She was getting around fine, just waddling and falling over some times but now she is not walking on her own. I found her in the yard one morning laying on her side. If I help hold her up she will use both legs and walk but cannot balance and walk on her own. No paralysis of any kind in legs, feet, wings. She will use both legs and feet if I hold her up. She will use her wings to try and fly. If I let her go, she will sit for a minute but when tries to get up and go, kicks legs out from under herself, falls sideways, then uses her legs to push and beak to pull herself around. She just won't keep them under her correctly to keep herself upright and walking. Is there anything that can be done to help her or is it too late since she is little over 2 years old. She eats, drinks, poops, cleans her feathers. I have been adding Vitamins to her water.

Anyone have any suggestions or tips? I really hate to have to put her down since she is by no means giving up on life.

You might try making her a walker or wheelchair where she can walk around, but stay upright. She would need to be on flat ground in a confined area, not going all over. I have seen people use baby bouncers, and make wheelchairs out of things around the house. Here is a good thread with examples of chickens slings and there are a few wheelchairs:

Thank you. I think we are going to try and build her one similar to this! She atleast will be able to to be upright and get around a bit.
