Growth on chicken foot?

Hi, my daughter just discovered this growth on a hen’s foot. We were able to clean it and put blu-kote on, but I thought I’d get some input. Does it look like bumblefoot? Something else? She isn’t favoring it at this point, and I don’t know how long it’s been there.
Thanks!

Yep, I'd say that's bumblefoot! I had a hen with a similar looking foot the other month, and got this plug out of it when I did surgery on it:

It's very painful for them to walk on, so I'd recommend either taking the chicken to a vet to have the infection removed, or doing the surgery yourself, depending on what you're comfortable with. Good luck!

Can you post a picture of the bottom of that foot? It does appear to be bumblefoot.
Before surgery I usually try this method (link below) first. The important thing is that you need to get all the pus (that's what the kernal is) out so that it can heal. If yours has gone through from the bottom, there may be quite a bit of cleaning out to do. If you are not comfortable with doing that, a vet is best. Most of the time if it's cleaned out well it will heal up, but some cases may need antibiotics to completely clear up.
