Growth on chicks beak

How long has that been there? Is the left nostril open or clogged up with that material? Does it seem like secretions mixed with food and dirt? What does the inside of the beak look like? I would try putting a few drops of hydrogen peroxide on the material to wet it and let it soak for about 10 minutes, and get help to hold it. Then see if it is pliable or if you can remove some of it. This may need to be repeated a few times.
It wasn’t there when I took pictures of her last week… she’s a bit skiddish so I try not to aggravate her and momma by forcing the handling… work on treats for trust! I thought that’s what it was at first, but couldn’t pick it off… I’ll give soaking it a try. Thank you

One week seems too rapid for a cancerous growth.

I suspect she has got something stuck on her beak, which has then attracted dirt and more dirt on top.

Soaked it off…vet said it’s a bacteria and/or virus that was starting to eat away at her beak…she’s on antibiotics and is isolated so she doesn’t get picked on. Both Millie and mom are most unhappy about this!
Thank you all!
