growth on combs

I have 4 new Isa Browns, they are about 24 weeks old and laying nicely but I have just noticed small dark growths forming on their combs.....any ideas what it might be and how to get rid of it if its a problem?

Not sure where you are but if it is very cold where you are it could be the beginning of frostbite. There are a couple of other things it could be as well this is the right place to get your question answered the members here are amazing when it comes to your chickies.

Could it be fowl pox? I'd do a search on here for fowl pox and see what comes up.
