I noticed a growth on the nostril of a goose a couple of days ago. It doesn't seem to affect or worry the bird.
The goose is eating and running with the flock as per usual.
They are fed mixed grain twice a day and have an early morning run to a field and then move to around the house where they also sleep outside the hen run.
They share the space with Muscovy ducks and the chickens are in the same space during the day.
10 new birds arrived in November but tend to keep to themselves and I have not noticed any growths on them.
We are in midsummer with high daily temperatures (30+°C) and had a month's rain in a few hours a week back but I suspect this predates that.
I am adding some photos.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be and what I could do?
Thank you.
