I have 9 pure Australorps, 5 weeks old, maybe 5 boys/4 girls

They are developing/growing at different rates.
My question is... will they all end up the same size ?

Not necessarily. Chickens of the same breed and age can grow at different rates and end up reaching the same size eventually. But they can also differ slightly genetically, and once in a while, one will end up being a shrimp.

However, size of the hen doesn't have to translate into size of egg she lays. My smallest hen lays the largest egg in the flock.

Boys are a couple of pounds heavier than Girls when mature. 7.5 to 5.5/3.4 to 2.5 kilos on average. Individuals will vary. GC
