we recently had a chick hatch. when it first came out something was wrong with its neck, it was bent back and had trouble for a couple of days but that seem to rectify itself. Now there is a growth just underneath its beak, we also notice that the top part of the beak is growing much bigger/faster then the bottom and its seems to have trouble eating normally. Its getting enough food just has problems eating like a normal chick...any idea of what the growth is ?
