Grrr, I forgot to cancel my order! SURPRISE!! They're Here!

Oh man! Just when my checkbook says $0, Thiesen's calls to say my order of chicks are in! Grrrrrr. Now I have to send DH to pick up these little fluffballs and starter feed!

20 tiny little leghorn pullets. I just got my 100 brown-egg pullet assortment up to 9 week size and integrated with the big girls. Now I have to start all over again! Good thing I had built a brooder into the little coop! All I had to do was put in the light, water and food. Sheeshes....what a fix! CHICKEN MATH got me good this time!

I asked for these over a month ago...I thought they had lost the order! Lord have mercy! My son asked me for white eggs...now he best be ready to eat em when the time comes!!!

Whew! DH just called from Thiesen's. He said the order was only 10 birds. Ok, great, but they cost twice what I expected...so I still end up with $25 worth of birds I couldn't afford this week. Oh bother! What a tangled web we weave when we practice Chicken Math!

And I just sold my broody Orp 2 days ago! I could of given these chicks to her. Darn it all!!!!
