I was just over at Eggbid looking at some of the "Show Quality" bloodlines or birds that some people are offering.
Specially in the Silkies. The birds are pathetic!
They are at best a good pet quality bird. There are two decent White Silkies there but they both have spiral wing feathers. That is a DQ in ANY show in ANY breed other than a frizzle. It should not be used for breeding and should be only a pet or should have been culled as soon as the bird started to feather in. Its just ridiculous how people attach the words or abbreviation for show quality just to try and scam a newbie into paying bug bucks for some junk birds.
The only people on Eggbid that dont throw "SQ" around are the true breeders who actuallt do have good birds. And they use "Exhibition Bloodlines". That is the best thing to use rather than show quality bloodlines. With so many people confused with the whole term of Show Quality its just a bunch of bull feathers to see someone getting gipped because they know no better. I mean, heck, ANY bird can be shown, doesnt mean it will do well. And even avid showers like myself know that not every show has anything worth competing against and you can easily win BB, BV, RB, RV, or even your class. But that doesnt make your bird a show winner per say. GRRRR! Thats my vent for now, I am sure alot of you have more to add to this, thats my $.2 on the matter, dont know if its worth cashing in on but there it is.

Edit: Sorry for any mis-spelled words. I am sick and have taken some meds to make me very drowzy and kinda in and out of thimgs at the time.
