Guess a sex, Bronze Turkeys. New Pics ;>)

I've been led to believe that hens often strut?

Gobbling on the other hand is something that only males will do. I did the math and worked out that my boys are 14 weeks old and they have all been gobbling for about three weeks. They gobble every time I go out to feed them or sit with them now - it's like it's their little "hello" to me!

When they were younger they both tried but I have been working alot lately so I don't know if they are or not actually. One of them is pretty vocal but I'm not sure if you would call it gobbling, I'm new to turkeys but they make a "cutting" noise alot and one of them makes a different noise, I guess time will tell

I'm going to say that they both are hens but for sure the 1st pic is a hen. I always take notice of their feet... males seem to have much thicker feet and their middle toe usually is much larger than the others. Plus from the turkeys that I've had, their faces seem more "henny" to me...less of a snood, more narrow and long.

I found a local man that has bronze turkeys, he sells all ages of birds, I asked if he has any young males about the age of mine and he said he does. I will go out there on my next day off to take a look, if they look different I will just buy one from him, I believe he said his prices were $15 up to two months old $20 2-6 months old, $40 6-12 month, and $50 for 1-2 year olds. Not sure if that's fair but by looking at craigslist I'd say it's probably a pretty good deal
