Males sound high pitched like a trumpet, girls are low and raspy.
Embden ganders usually have a shriller honk too. I only have 1 embden gander however, and then his mix breed daughter, and he honks shrill and LOUD! His daughter doesnt honk much, she prefers to "chatter" as I call it.
