My chicks should be here Tuesday. I guess I should go get some stuff for my improvised brooder I have. Maybe think of somewhere to set it up too lol. OH, and start the coop at some point......Nothing like procrastination!

We did the same thing! We had these eggs in an incubator that we rented through our homeschool co-op. We had such a hard time keeping the temperature steady, one day it reached 113! We thought for sure they were all dead, but just left them in anyway. Then on Friday night, day 20, we heard chirping from the incubator. We had to head to the farm store and get ourselves together and make our brooder really fast. 8 chicks ended up hatching. Then we started our coop! You are not at all alone
