Guess Rangers' breed.

Just for fun, I've sent a DNA sample to the folks at wisdompanel, a company that does dna tests to determine ancestry of mutts.
They received it last week and breed results will be available with two weeks.
We got him from the pound, who advertised him as a German shepherd/ aussie/heeler mix.
We guess he's a ranch dog mix- shepherds, collies, maybe some bully because its unlikely that he isn't, coming from Maricopa county.
I think he has some rough Collie and chow.
Anybody see any signs of other breeds to guess while we wait for the results?

Most chow mixes with have some amount of a black tongue, but I can see that shorter wider muzzle would make you thing that. Can definitely tell the German Shepherd, and I'd probably guess Aussie too like the shelter did, or your guess of the chow.

The tail and the body make me think some chow chow.

Or first dog was a chow mix, he had black marks in his mouth. He doesn't have a black tongue but he dose have dark lips.

One of our dogs was suspected to be a GSD/Akita mix when we got her from the Humane Society based on her size and coloration. Her mom was an Akita mix so that was a given, but the Wisdom Panel came back as an American Staffordshire Terrier/Akita mix. A GSD never even looked at mom
Apparently a lot of these come back with some Pitty mix in them.
