I've always loved this breed! Wish they had them in the US though. I will post a breed in a little while.

you right! from kwa zulu natal South Africa. No vets no coops no special food, literally its survival of the fastest because they are the ones that dont get eaten. The breed developed in rural communities, often under harsh conditions. The breed like mad and hardly ever get sick. These are our local residents, they live outside our mall. They survive on food scraps from the parking lot and the sweet lady at the estate agency that gives the babies seed.

Such marital discord created by my precious pet.
Sentenced now to far yonder coop,
Is a kinder fate than chicken soup
