StarLover21... I don't want to offend you, but that is not an American Game Bantam. First, American Games originated here in America, not Asia. Second, they come in a huge variety of colors, not only the chestnut brown. Third, they only have single combs, but males intended for exhibition are dubbed. Here are the breed specs:
"Standard Weights: Cock-30 oz, Hen-27 oz, Cockerel-27 oz, Pullet-24 oz.
Standard Varieties: Black, Black Breasted Red, Blue, Blue Red, Brassy Back, Brown Red, Birchen, Golden Duckwing, Silver Duckwing, Red Pyle, Wheaten and White.
Comb Type: Single; males must be dubbed for exhibition.
Leg Color: Bluish slate is the predominant leg color with the exception of a few varieties: Blacks, Brown Reds and Birchens have black legs; Red Pyles and Whites have pinkish slate legs.
Eye Color: Red on all varieties except Black, Blue, Brown Red and Birchen, which have brown eyes."
This is the page you got your picture from, and that pair, and the info you gave, are Nankins. http://albc-usa.org/cpl/nankin.html Nankins' origin is obscure, most likely Asia, only come on the chestnut color (buff with a black tail) and can have either rose or single combs.
I just wanted to point that out. If you found the picture on Google with a search for American Games, then I understand your mistake. But Google often does not have 100% accurate information, so it's best to check it against a sure, trusted source.
Oh yes, I'm so sorry. I meant to hit quote to your post, about the Nankin, and I was in a hurry and hit reply instead.Sorry about that, willowbranchfarms.![]()
Haha, yes, American Game Bantams originating in asia....
