every where except the AKC all 4 dogs are 1 breed, just different varieties.

the Belgian Tervuren, Groenendal, Malinois, and Laekenois. So, I guess it depends on which word we take as "official"

Oh goodness those split nosed dogs look totally deformed! They look like a cleft palet, some of them even have very wide skulls where it looks like the skull did not knit together properly. I wonder what positive a split nose can have for a breed and why, if it is just cosmetic would someone breed for that look.
